What Is Not Covered?

What Can Void the Warranty?
To maintain coverage, property owners must avoid the following:
Work Performed by Others - Repairs, modifications, or alterations completed by another contractor or unlicensed individual may void warranty coverage on affected systems.
Customer-Caused Damage - Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or improper operation of electrical equipment is not covered.
Lack of Reasonable Maintenance - Property owners are expected to reasonably maintain their electrical systems. This includes recommended annual maintenance for standby generators and promptly addressing known issues when they arise.
Property Transfer - The Lifetime Labor Warranty is issued to the property owner and is not transferable. If ownership of the property changes, warranty coverage ends.
